Privacy Policy
This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it, especially before serving EU/UK users (GDPR) or handling data at scale.
1. What we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, university, bio, interests), content you create (posts, messages, event registrations), and basic usage data needed to run the service.
2. How we use it
To operate your account, power matching and search features, moderate the community, and respond to support requests and reports.
3. Who can see what
Your profile (name, bio, university, interests) is visible to other logged-in members in the Network directory. Direct messages and group chats are only visible to participants. Admins can view reports and moderation data.
4. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion via the support page.
5. Third parties
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and storage. If you sign in with LinkedIn, LinkedIn's own privacy policy also applies to that flow.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us via the support page.
